Dear Readers, We need to take care while doing massage as wrong steps leads to further muscles problem. Learn how to do Cold Oil Method-Massage Precautions-Ayurvedic Massage Method. Ayurvedic considers that the mustard oil and sesame oils should be refined in order to make it edible. As per ayurvedic sesame oil is the best.
Cold Oil Method
Take nutmeg (jaiphal) 100gm, carom (Ajwain) 5 gram, staff tree (malkagini) 5 gram and chamomile (babuna) 5 gram. Grind all and soak in soak in one kilo water for 12 hours. Now boil till water is half then sieve it in cloth. Again boil the water and add refined oil. Boil till the entire water evaporate and only oil is left in the vessel. Add carom (Ajwain) extract 1/20 part and store in a container. Oil is ready for body massage.
Massage Precautions
Avoid oil massage and exercise during panchkarma or fever, phlegmatic conditions and serious illness. Mssage is dangerous immediately after meals should wait for three hours. It can be done night or day time.
Clean the whole body with wet towel. Dip the fingers in the oil and apply on navel, ears, nose, head and soles. Apply oil on elbows, shoulders, neck, waist ankles and knees and other all parts.
Oil Massage Method
Apply the oil and press body, nerves and muscles. Use smooth touch, pats, jerks, twists and punches while doing massage. Give vibrations to the nerves and muscles.
Do the oil massage in a sequence. Start it from toes, soles and the ankle then massage the calf muscles. Then massage thighs and waist muscles. Press the nerves slowly follwed by stomach and then chest massage. Now start face massage, head and neck massage. At the end give back massage. Wipe out the whole body with wet towel then wipe with the help of dry towel.
The weather should be normal neither hot nor cold while giving massage so it is necessary to chose the correct time for massage. If 24 hours same climate then give massage without oil. Massage is an important diet for the health of the body.
Ayurvedic Massage Method
In ayurvedic they apply oil on navel, ears, nose, rectum palms and soles. These points contains the sensitive points that is helpful to keep the body healthy. In ancient times people aware of the body sensitive parts which is located in the hands, legs, ears, cheeks, nose and head.
Palm, soles head, ears and face activates the internal secretion glands along with different organs if massaged and pressed in proper way.
In soles there are 25/30 such points and related to different organs and 7 points are related to prostate gland, pancreas, thyroid gland, kidneys etc. right side leg and hand points are related to left side organs. The left side palm and feet have the reflex heart point. Giving massage to correct points are very beneficial.
